TRI DELTA'S BID DAY 2011: BETA TAU PLEDGE CLASS!

To Potential New Members:
My name is Mia Savvides, and I am the Vice President of Membership! On behalf of Tri Delta’s Beta Nu chapter, I want to tell you how excited we are for recruitment 2012! Personally, I can’t wait for all of you to come through our house during formal recruitment! This process is my favorite thing about being a woman in the Greek community, because it emphasizes all of the reasons why I love Greek life. Philanthropy, sisterhood, and the social aspect of getting to meet so many different people are all present during this unforgettable experience.
The decision to go Greek was the best decision I’ve made in my college career, and I know that the women in every chapter will tell you the same. Each of Virginia Tech’s 12 chapters is full of amazing and diverse women. You will soon find this community is one that you can be proud to be a part of. All of the chapters are full of involved, well rounded, and driven women. These women are constantly striving to strengthen their chapter and by extension strengthen the community. This is done through leadership positions within the chapter as well as on campus, participating in the philanthropy events of other chapters, as well as getting involved at Virginia Tech through Greeks Giving Back, Relay for Life, and the Big Event.
I encourage you to visit the Virginia Tech Panhellenic website for more information about the process, and I hope to see you in January! Feel free to look through this site to get a feel for the chapter that I’m so lucky to be a part of. It is a place where I have found a second home and some of my best friends. Also feel free to contact me with any questions or if you still aren’t sure if Greek life is for you!
Delta Love and All of Mine,
Mia
